F-1 HIT BOND HIGH TEMPERATURE

F-1 HIT BOND HIGH TEMPERATURE is the latest generation single-component, no halogen high-temperature adhesive and sealant. It is instantly ready to use, reacts with atmospheric humidity, establishing a robust and elastic sealant and connection. Almost odourless. No plasticizer migration. After stabilizing it may be used for painting with waterborne and solvent-borne paints. Very elastic; endures movements of +/-20% of constant service. It remains elastic within a temperature range of -40°C — +1,200°C. F-1 HIT BOND HIGH TEMPERATURE does not facilitate metal corrosion. Resistant to water and chemicals. Adheres to majority of materials, e.g.: metal, concrete, fibre cement, glass, plastics (poor adherence to PP, PE and PTFE). May be applied even at -20°C!

USAGE

Sealing of locations subject to very high temperatures, e.g. chimneys, furnaces, hearths, BBQs, boilers, fireplace inserts, etc. Fixing and sealing of elements of stone, concrete, cast iron, steel, glass, etc. Sealing of bricks and fire resistant blocks. Sealing of fume duct components.
Caution!
The product may not be used in direct contact with open flame or hot fumes, as this may result in pulverization of the sealant.
