ALU-660 is resistant to temperature of up to 700°C. ALU-660 provides the coated metal surfaces with catalytic protection against corrosion and is simple, fast and economical in use. After the application of one layer of ALU-660 a protective coating consisting of 99.5% of pure aluminium is established. An additive of synthetic resin makes minute aluminium particles bind with the coated material, providing superb adherence to the surface. At high temperatures the resin evaporates and leaves a layer of pure aluminium that melts in the dilated metal pores.
USAGE
ALU-660 adheres perfectly to almost all materials, e.g. steel, non-ferrous metals, wood, building paper, plastics, ceramic, etc.
ALU-660 features a wide range of applications in many industries; it is most often used to protect surfaces, e.g.:
- HVAC devices
- metallurgical and heating furnaces
- pipes (vapour piping)
- paint shop furnaces
- dampers
- containers
- car bodies, wheels, rims
- art and craftsmanship
